It looks like helpful scenario for what i am dealing with currently. SQL Client for Mac OS X that works with MS SQL Server [closed]. There is a free trial and it was built to allow access to MSSQL databases (including Azure) from a mac without the need of a virtual machine. Since there currently isn't a MS SQL client for Mac OS X, I would, as Modesty has suggested, use Remote Desktop for the Mac.
